Island Bay Sportsman (Bay boat) originally built in 2017. Powered by a 115HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 36 knots.

Being a Louisiana Cajun Boy and from a family that loves the outdoors as much as I do, I was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age.

I was blessed with the opportunity to move and live in Florida in '89. I have fished in Louisiana bayous, ponds, and rivers, as well as the Gulf Mexico. I've even caught Crawfish in ditches! I've also fished in Florida on the Atlantic side, St. Johns River and the Gulf of Mexico grass flats. My name is Captain Champ Klein and I cannot wait to share a piece of Keaton Beach Florida paradise with you and your family. So come on down for a morning or evening trip and make memories that will last a lifetime!

I enjoy fishing for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder using spoons and artificial baits, but to be honest, I just love to fish. Don't forget to ask about out combo Inshore Charter and Mermaid Cottage that sleeps 5 very comfortably.

Booking Policy

All bookings require a deposit. If you must cancel, your deposit will be applied towards a future trip. If the captain must cancel, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund. Cancellations due to weather will be at the discretion of the captain. Please contact us with any weather concerns prior to making any decisions, as Florida weather is unique, especially in the summertime.
